Sneak Peak Of June Flying Unicorn Projects

READY FOR SNEAK PEAK?!!

It's my first ever Flying Unicorn Creative Team project!! BUT it is not time yet, so I am just going to give you a little tease, lol.

In this month's main kit, we have this amazingly beautiful off-the-page project to play with. In our mixed art kit add on, you will get everything you need to create a mixed media canvas~!
I made a canvas and a card using the mixed art kit add on, because I just LOVE the theme colors and the flowers in there.

For those of you who don't know, the off the page project is included in the monthly main kit :)

Here are the sneaks peaks! yayyy!!

Shimmerz Mixed Media Art Journal Page

Hi friends :)

Today I am sharing a loss page art journal page I created as a Shimmerz Education Team Product. The color theme is really simple as you can see. I did not put any words or titles on it either, because this art journal is more like a creation of my feelings than my thoughts.

I always wanted to put some words into my art journal page. But sometimes when I was creating this one, I just didn't know how to describe what I want to say. So I decided just to create what I feel inside.

I first sprayed the background color and used white paint to tone everything down. Then I ripped some newspaper print tissue paper and collaged them onto the background. I love the paint drips on my art journal, so I made my mist run and let them drip away. I took a checkerboard stencil and dazzelerz in color gummy berry blue to create some texture. Then I used Texturez in color Crushed Coral to go over some places to create more texture and layers of colors.

It is a really simple and fast art journal page to create. Hope you like it

Prima Something Blue Altered Photo Stand For SaCrafters

Hi friends :)

Today I am sharing a photo stand I made for SaCrafters. All the wood and chipboard product used on this project is from SaCrafters and all the paints are from Shimmerz

Since it finally feels like spring here, I decided to make something with vibrant and fresh colors. The coral and mint green colors are perfect for the spring feeling.

Every flower was in white color and I painted them mint green and coral. They were a little bit too vibrant when I just painted them. So I went over it with texture paste to tone them down a little.
I painted every wood and chipboard piece white first and then use different paints to color them.

I love those chipboard chains SaCrafters has!! They are the most affordable chipboard chains I can find. I have so many plans for this chain, I don't want to use them all just in one project. So here is a method you can use to save your chipboard embellishments, however, your chipboard embellishments need to be thick to do this. SaCrafters chipboard embellishments are really thick and you can totally use this method.

So what you need to do is very simple, just peel it into different layers, lol. SaCrafters chipboard embellishments can be peeled into 3 layers. You will see me doing this in the start-to-finish video.

Really hope you like it :))
